Bombay Sapphire Gin
Bombay Sapphire Gin is the perfect gin to impress! It’s unusually smooth for a gin; the juniper is in marital bliss with the other 9 botanicals, making Bombay Sapphire a prime choice in a classic Martini using Dry Vermouth and olives. Bombay Sapphire also can be served in a gin and tonic or the beautiful, blue Aviation cocktail created during Prohibition: Shake 2 oz. Bombay Sapphire in a shaker with ice along with 1/4 oz. Crème de Violette, 1/2 oz. Maraschino cherry liqueur and 1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with lemon zest and a Maraschino cherry.

All 10 of Bombay Sapphire’s priceless botanicals combine with the gin using their unique Vapor Infusion Process. The botanicals are held in a copper basket infuser to allow for heated vapors to rise through, releasing the exhilarating combination of botanicals. Prior to Vapor Infusion, the herbs and botanicals are dried in the spectacular glasshouses, also known as the Botanical Dry Room at the Bombay Distillery.
Bombay Sapphire Gin
Bombay uses juniper as the heart of its Sapphire and Original gins, using the finest juniper berries from the hills of Tuscany, Italy. The many ingredients that Bombay uses derive from different countries, even continents, ensuring the finest ingredients from their indigenous locations. The citrus aromas and flavors derive from Murcia lemon peels and Moroccan coriander seeds. The Moroccan coriander seeds and the grains of paradise from West Africa both provide ginger-spice with the grains of paradise adding robust pepper notes and calming lavender. Cubeb berries from Java are in the pepper family and contribute dry, hot notes, but have rose and lavender aromas. Cassia bark from Indonesia shows a gentle warmth similar to cinnamon and bitter Spanish almonds add a luscious silkiness from the oil. Chinese licorice stands out and is an ingredient unique to Sapphire gin. Orris from Florence (Iris flower root) is ground releasing floral flavors and angelica root from Dresden adds earthy tones.
