Abner Doubledays Double Play Bourbon is a young blend of select Indiana bourbon and our own small batch bourbon. The two distinct styles were joined for their individual profiles; the sourced bourbon is heavy on corn and light on small grains, while our bourbon is lighter on corn and heavier on rye, wheat and oats. These small grains add softness while creating layers of depth and complexity. The result is a bourbon that finishes with caramel, butterscotch and sweet toffee. Our distiller decided on 90 proof to accentuate the finish. Packaged in our custom New York State hand made pine case. Cooperstown Distillery is a fully operational distillery producing and selling the finest varietals of bourbon, gin and vodka on site. Boodles Mulberry Gin is an enticing gift for both gin and liqueur lovers! Try mixing Boodles Mulberry in this Manhattan recipe – Stir in a shaker with ice: 2 oz. Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon, 1/2 oz. of sweet vermouth, and 1/2 oz. of Boodles Mulberry Gin. When well-chilled, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a brandied cherry and large lime peel twist.
Boodles London Dry Gin dates back to 1847, and after many years of experience, the brand released Boodles Mulberry in 2015. Boodles Mulberry is the first mulberry gin in the U.S. and was created in tribute to England’s well known mulberry trees, which have been a staple of the country for centuries. The well rounded palate is fruit forward with luscious currant and raspberry notes, along with the gin botanicals that gin lovers enjoy: rosemary, sage and nutmeg.
Boodles Gin is distilled using British wheat and is then redistilled in a Carter Head copper still, to infuse the botanicals steadily into the spirit. Boodles uses a vacuum still that operates under extreme pressure, resulting in slower evaporation of the alcohol and a stronger focus on the botanical flavors. A variety of nine herbs and botanicals are infused, including juniper, rosemary, sage, coriander, caraway, nutmeg, among others. Boodles Mulberry Gin is crafted similar to the traditional sloe gin style, in that mulberries are soaked in the distilled gin in place of blackthorn. According to the brand, creating this elegant gin takes “labor and patience”.

That eaux-de-vie is distilled in column stills an additional 4 times before the final step. This 5th distillation is done is traditional, tailor-made copper pot stills. Jean-Sebastion used his distilling expertise, in addition to his skill as an oenologist he received in 1988, to craft Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka in 2003. He has since been recognized by the Great Council of Bordeaux Wines as the ‘Commandeau de Bordeaux.’ He received this prestige award for his high quality, honest, and superior products.
In 2007, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs partnered up with Diageo’s, a global leader in beverage alcohol with iconic brands in spirits, to tackles Ciroc’s Lifestyle Branding and Marketing.
