A delicious English gin that is four times distilled in copper pot stills, Bulldog had the highest rating ever received by a gin from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. It was also voted a Top 50 spirit!
Bulldog was founded by Anshuman Vohra, an entrepreneur, in 2007 with the goal of crafting the first “modern” gin. The product was limited to only the U.S.A. until 2009 when in entered Spain during Europe’s gin craze. As of 2015, Bulldog is more than 55 different countries. In 2017, Vohra sold the company rights to the Compari Group. Compari is responsible for the sales of popular brands like SKYY, Wild Turkey, and Grand Marnier.
FIRST, Grain neutral spirit (at 96% ABV) is infused with the all-natural flavours and aromas of BULLDOG Gin’s 12 distinctive botanicals inside a copper pot still.
This allows the botanicals to macerate in the spirit before distilling, to release their essential oils, resulting in the creation of vapour.
SECOND, The resultant vapour passes through a condenser and is reliquefied to produce an essence. As a result of this, the “heads” (volatile compounds with low boiling points) and “tails” (volatile compounds with high boiling points) are separated from the distillate.
